meh .... in my day it was commodore 64 and the games were on tape. the only way it went down was if the tape got all tangled and snapped <ok>
 
lol it's been down for like 2 days, rumours about hacking/ a ddos attack or something
 
While Sony hasn&#8217;t said what caused the disruption, it does come following threats from a vigilante group known as &#8220;Anonymous,&#8221; which said it would attack Sony&#8217;s Internet services following a lawsuit against a well-known hacker, George Hotz. Sony said it settled with Hotz on March 31.

Thats what you get for "free online services" get an Xbox and you will be in whole new online gaming experience.

Even though it costs 35 quid a year... The staff have maintenance done in 2/3 hours.
