I notice that certain posters are throwing abuse his way on this thread,but no-one seems to mind. Double standards do not a happy Forum make. We are in accord on most things,Norway,but I simply cannot see your need for such overreaction when it comes to Dai. I don't see him as a Liverpool fan,per se, but a long time admirer,for sure. Where's the harm in that? Many people have a second team,I don't,but see no harm in it. I do,however, see him first and foremost as a Swansea City supporter,of many years standing. It's his passion for The Swans' that gives many of his posts their credibility. In my humble opinion.
I agree, Vetch/ Valley. Here's my two cents. Dai is a Swans fan but is one of those pertetual moaners we've all been sitting next to from time to time. Maybe down the Vetch, maybe at the Liberty. Hell, every club's got 'em. You know the kind. As soon as there's a pass back he moans. As soon as a player shoots and misses, he moans. Quick to criticise but slow to praise. Always saying how great our former players/ managers were and how our current ones are poor despite getting better results. Other clubs are better than us. We should be doing what they do. Yadda yadda yadda. As for an online presence I'm afraid he's a 'look at me' poster (and we've got lots of them unfortunately) who says things just to get attention, knowing he's going to get both barrels from all and sundry. Liverpool are clearly his 'soft spot' Club and he's followed them since he was a kid. And it shows. I disagree with almost everything he says. Almost. His point about keeping the ball away from our goal in the dying minutes is a valid one. Sorry guys but it is. It happened against the Russians twice and had we kept the ball up the other end Stoke wouldn't have got a pen. Yes the ref shafted us but you get the point. So imo he makes good points at times but his manner stinks. I have had huge rows with him in the past on the old 606 and he was encouraged to "keep going" by one particular poster I won't name and he's taken that advice ever since. You really do reap what you sow. But I've mellowed with him. I read his posts and disregard most of the drivel but sift out the decent stuff. If I got as hot under the collar as you guys I'd stick him on ignore as I've done with that other poster I spoke of. It's easy really. Remember this, unlike some he's got an attitude that's unfortunate, superior and condescending but he's only abusive when he retaliates. I'll take that any day over the gratuitous abuse that I see on here sometimes. That said, I fully understand why those whose buttons he pushes feel the need.

Funny how that on all the threads about rissoles, crisps and ***s that none of the posts actually run down our own team, our own club or our own manager. They are for Swans fans who congregagte on her regularly and chat about things other than football - because not even John Motson talks about football 24/7. But when we have a thread about football that is exactly what happens. I personally don't care if Dai is banned or not, its not something I really think about. But still don't like the bloke. He is a wum. He knows what he is doing, and I guess more fool me for biting, but hey. I have in the past tried ignoring him, but it doesn't work, because he does annoy a fair few posters, and you cannot expect them all to place him on ignore, and from there, we get quotes, and we see it anyway, so there is really no bloody point having him on ignore. If he was telling us he thought ML got it wrong, that his tactics were poor, then I wouldn't mind so much, but its his constant sucking of Brendan's cock that pisses me off. The guy has to be BR himself, or someone with a crush on the bloke.
