I've a better idea why don't you just stay at home and let us proper supporters get on with supporting the team !!

I totally agree, I don't think we are doing enough at the moment, although I don't think silence is the answer because sky will ignore it, you need to do something that will grab their attention or that they can't ignore. I honestly think that the most effective form of protest would be to not take our seats, this would be hard to organise and the most effective way to do it would be to take seats for kick off, then stage a walk out in the 19th minute, cameras couldn't ignore it, would send a clear message, those who don't want to do it don't have to. perhaps some sort of chant to initiate the walk out, come on kids think of something clever. 5 minutes would do it the message would be put across. oh and if anyone wants to tell me i'm not a proper supporter don't waste your breath, we maintain the right to protest as do you don't belittle our means of doing so.
how can you think that 5 minutes in one game is more important that our entire history? As has been said all along, you have been entitled to show your support for the name change and arrange any sort of anti protest you like but it never happens. People like me will be going long after the KC stadium empties out.
Really! A protest in the stadium will play right into Assem Allams hands. Upset Steve Bruce and if it costs us a home win, it will be the end of all of the nonsense alright. In twenty minutes you will undo all of the work done by CTWD.
History good or back will always be their to refer back to, by changing the name is not going to erase the history books.
So the current tactic of doing nothing and letting the club continue this nonsense is the best way forward for you? The club are making it very clear that they're powering ahead with the rebrand regardless of FA approval, so the old "the FA will save us" isn't cutting it. Drastic action is needed, if it upsets Steve Bruce (how sensitive do you think he is?) so be it. It's one game and he's one man (as is Assem Allam) out of thousands connected with Hull City AFC over the years.
All it would take for the silent protest to fail would be for City to get the ball in the last third of the pitch. Then excitement would take over.
If it was such a good idea, why do you think CTWD havent done it? The reason is that the negatives out weigh the positives. Steve Bruce has already made it clear that he does not find protest in the ground acceptable.
Maybe they've not thought of it, who knows? It's not the only idea, but your suggestion of doing nothing in case it upsets someone isn't quite wrorking is it? In the name change debate, Steve Bruces opinion is irrelevant.
Except we're playing Newcastle, they'll fill the away end and make more noise than we ever make. The Tigers Coop are having a meeting before the game get yourself there and get involved. Theres committee posts up for grabs. you should put yourself forward.
yep, make more noise than all the home fans so being silent won't matter then again geordies have true fans and no sellouts
