Too true! After all; he was only good enough for AC Milan to consider as their CEO - who are they? As for Astori - he's only Italian too playing for an Italian club and the fact he lives and breathes the club 24/7 - what right does he have to get involved with player transfers....
Which makes me believe even more that Cortese only does the negotiating. Whoever made the signings under Poortvliet didn't know much and those signings (Morgan excepted) were dreadful. These signings are those of astute football people, not a banker who couldn't expain the offside rule.
