If Andy Dawson did do that then he needs a good kicking. Daws is not that kind of person. Maybe you read too much into the situation.

I agree he will be fine. Just needs time and now he will get it. Great management from Steve Bruce to leave him out on saturday.

Maybe Dawson still has Nick Barmby on his mind.

He will. Of that there is no doubt. I also think that Nick P. was bought to partner Matty Fryatt which at the moment cannot happen. We have 4 good strikers and its a long season. All will get there chance between now and May.

Better and far more expensive strikers than Nick P. have gone through the same situation. Torres and Carroll spring to mind. Give the man a chance and time. Steve Bruce got his selection for Bolton spot on. Nick will be needed at some point and dont rule out his first goal off the bench against Millwall either.

I also noticed that Dawson completely blanked him, it looked like a worrying situation.

I didn't notice Dawson at half time but if true then he's being completely out of order, Nick P is only 25, so he is still fairly young, and to come to a brand new country and play for a new team you expect abit of welcoming, not one of if not the most experienced player in the squad to ignore, maybe Dawson is abit pissed off that Dudge has nudged him out of the side, but he still doesn't have to ignore new players who have never played in this country before
