To be honest I`m quite disappointed by the timing of this announcement, I was looking forward to finding out who Fudd & Felch named as the prefered liquidators.

Well they are moaning that the SPL are putting in rules that allow a Hun shaped vessel into the SPL.....I think they do believe that it is/should be business as usual next sea-saw.

I always suspected that if they got a CVA they would have been alllowed to stay in the SPL, I don't think that matters though because I think liquidation is more likely than a CVA.

The idea of getting in the SPL has been a nest that has been getting feathered for a while. Today just puts in place a mechanism for it. I don't like it. They don't like it. Nine other SPL sides.....They'd have to be happy with it. Ten if you count Yorkston.

i think whatever the rights and wrongs of this we have to accept that the huns in one form or another will be playing in the spl next season. This i understand makes a lot of people angry, but it was always on the cards and these people who are claiming they will never go to another spl game again were deluding themselves if they thought they would be kicked out of the league.

They will suffer in one way or another for at least 3-4 years. they like to hold leeds up as the way out of this (dont want to start another argument on this) but look at the state leeds are in now. been down to league one, been out of the epl for 8 years and do not look like they will be getting back anytime soon. they pay some of the worst wages in the championship yet have one of the biggest avg crowds.

How many point deduction do you think 134m equates to? Serious question as if they let Rangers do it whats to stop Killie trying to go down same route wipe out their overdraft and 8m loan?

Under the present rules Killie would be mad not to go into Admin and get rid of the debt.

Serious answer. ****ed out of the league.

I watch Derry city every other week. Not one person i have spoken to thinks what happened here was anything other than justified. Fired out of the league and start from the bottom.

I read a message board where a lad was directing folk to a Finn Harps website where they were slagging off Derry. To a man, everyone said that the Finn Harps supporters were right.

I agree. Getting ****ed out of the league is the appropriate punishment. I've said before it would be farcical to keep us in the SPL.

Hardly surprising that a Dundee Utd fan, as a member of the anti-Rangers / Lawell-led cabal, would misunderstand the proposed new rules. They are clearly designed solely to be anti-Rangers, set up to punish further the club (who have done nothing wrong). He will be remembered as an enemy of The People.

I think the points deduction does not go near far enough. Surely points deduction should be calculated in an equation taking
in total indebtness divided annual turnover for previous three years divided by three. Points deduction should take place for three years.
A ban on entering European Competitions should last five years. Also I think all SPL clubs should have to display prominently on their tops, the year they were formed.
I was going to suggest that the ruling body should themselves audit the books twice yearly for five years. However the SPL auditing Rangers books would not make any difference. The same as Campbell Og been allowed to stay in position so that he can shred all he needs to keep his nose clean. Surely not.
