Clearly the inclusion of evidence doesn't seem to matter when making accusations on this thread.
You seemed to think that it did earlier or have you changed your mind about that?
In fact, you were ignoring tons of it in order to claim your club's innocence.
Course it was! I didn't realise if the player is no longer at the club then its ok, I am sure Spuds weren't celebrating the penalty that way or does it only matter if its on Twitter!
So you don't want a club the celebrate scoring from a legitimate penalty and you're comparing that with a blatant handball?
Would you like another try, as you're not doing very well so far, I'm afraid. Third time's the charm?

I see the irony of that comment orbited over your head.

Your 'evidence' has been confirmed as either opinion, or spurious speculation.

In your opinion legit not in everyone's opinion.

Also are you saying Spurs have never scored dodgy goals or cheated like Bale diving against other teams!

Nah it's only your goal posts seems to move every time.....

There's no irony to it, barring that of your own hypocrisy, unfortunately.
Evidence was asked for and provided, but you stuck your head in the sand, Ostrich.

Dude not being funny but there was no evidence, even your fellow Spud PowerSpurs admitted there is no actual evidence of bribe!

Thanks for confirming you missed the irony.

Your 'evidence' is little more than salacious gossip.

You're attempting to compare a debatable goal with one that simply isn't. That's not even the point, either.
Arsenal are not only cheating, they're bragging about winning by it.
I'm not sure how you're missing this, to be honest.

Apart from people being involved with Norris saying that it happened and the reason given for the promotion making no sense.
The clubs involved were caught cheating and Norris was caught cheating. There's load of evidence.
As for any for it being a legitimate promotion? Er... not so much.

You really are Tedium Incarnate <laugh> ... given that I knew that, very much in character (irrespective of posting persona), you would continue your incessant bleating over the HIAB acronym (that's different from a synoym by the way <whistle>) ... I popped it into a search engine or two just for you ..<laugh>.

Apparently it means 'Hysterically Inadequate Anal Boil' ... which, rather fittingly, would appear to be highly synonymous <laugh>
<laugh>

And as has been explained repeatedly to you, nobody involved with Norris said that he bribed anybody, and that Knighton's autobiography has been shown as being full of factual errors. Also, you seem to be linking Norris' subsequent misdemeanours with Arsenal's promotion, when you know full well that is just your unfounded supposition.

You've been flogging this dead horse for the last 3 days, don't you think it's time you faced facts ? There is no evidence of any bribery.

Knighton's autobiography wasn't shown to be full of factual errors at all.
That's merely a claim by a biased Goon, whose on claims were debunked.

Norris was a known cheat and immoral scumbag, who was caught doing it by your own club.
The clubs that put you forward for promotion were caught cheating and the promotion makes no footballing sense.
You'll still deny it though, as you're blind to these disgraceful actions, despite them being obvious.
This despite the club breaking many of your own moral principles in those years, Ostrich.

Keep defending the cheating Tory MP to the hilt though, while flying that red flag high.
No hypocrisy here at all! <laugh>

Knighton's autobiography wasn't shown to be full of factual errors at all.

His claims weren't debunked, at all. One family relation was challenged, the claim about player transfers was not. Neither was another incident of player transfers, where Knighton claimed Norris had a £1000 ceiling, when in fact Arsenal had bought players for £1500 and £3000. The claim by Knighton about having to use the doctor in law's brother in the team was also false, as was his claim that he was forced to abandon the Arsenal scouting system, as was his claim that Arsenal couldn't sign players under 5'8", when we signed a 5' ****ing midget <laugh>

Then there is the issue that Knighton wasn't even Arsenal's manager at the time of these 'allegations' you have.

It all adds up to Knighton's autobiography being full of factual errors. You are basing your 'evidence' on factual errors, yet you continue to repeat the same mistake.

It's almost like you're burying your head in the sand because you can't face the facts, Ostrich.

I didn't. I said that it was my opinion that there was a bribe and I didn't need to provide evidence to support an opinion

Fair play, it's your opinion. Not fact. Perhaps you need to explain this to PNP <ok>

The supposed factual errors are easily explained, so I'll start with the one about the midget.
He wasn't supposed to be signed and was immediately sold without playing a game, demonstrating Knighton's claim perfectly.
The supposed fees paid for players would also be explained by Norris pocketing the difference, which he was later caught doing.

As for him not being the manager at the time, that's also irrelevant. He was clearly close to Norris.
He called his sacking a mistake, despite your poor form under him and left him money in his will.

The only person claiming errors is an Arsenal toady who makes the same protests that you do about your cheating club.
He's clearly another ostrich and would call the Koscielny handball a good goal, just as you do.
Clear demonstrations of your immorality and lack of character, I'm afraid.

I informed my opinion by a study of the facts which clearly led to the view that the most likely cause was a bribe. I agree with PnP - there is loads of evidence. But not sufficient to get a conviction. Possibly enough to win damages though but Spurs were honourable at the time and allowed the vote to stand without challenge.

So Norris pocketed the difference between the £1000 ceiling and the difference now <laugh> And your evidence for this is, that he was caught doing this, when in fact he wasn't. He was caught paying money to players to try and get them to play for Arsenal and because he hands in the till over a transport issue. Arsenal sacked him, rightly so. It was the honourable thing to do

You are clutching at straws, there is no evidence that Norris bribed anybody. Even your fellow spud admits that, yet you are still here flogging that dead horse and burying your head in the sand like an Ostrich.

You're entitled to your opinion I suppose.
