In my view Graham Turner is a great manager. He has had a sparkling career and is a credit to shrewsbury town. He has made a few mistakes in his time at town, such as releasing the players David Raven, Kevin McIntyre and Craig Disley and the releasing of Jake Robinson who played against his former club in the leauge 2 playoff final after being allowed to leave on loan to Torquay United.
I have no doubt that Graham Turner will bring some quality players into Shrewsbury Town this transfer window. He needs to look to other leauge 2 teams such as Crewe who have Clayton Donaldson. Turner will need some more funds avaliable for him to put to good use.
As any Town fan will tell you we were cheated out of a automatic promotion place after the end of the season the table stood:

Next season Shrewsbury town should be able to take the title with no compotition within the leauge. The pre-season friendlies consist of

We need to have a solid run of good games to build confidence within the squad. Hopefully any incomers will help to this and make for some great footy. I think GT got rid of a few middle-of-the-road players, although I'd agree on Raven staying but I hope he has a replacement lined up, but I'd have thought that we'd see a signing by now if he had.

sorry to be a party pooper but i cannot see town getting auto promo next season unless we have a great start to the season and no mid winter malaises. competition from gasheads afc wombles, crawley, bradford, rotherham and gills amongst others make me very downbeat about towns chances next season, no matter how good gt and his squad are. floreat salopia
