60, I know Saints are currently a nailed on certainty for promotion, but something tells me that they might just have to do this via the play offs, which is a whole different kettle of fish. It's not inconceivable that the final of the play offs could be between Saints & Hammers. If so, it would be a very interesting day out.

Birmingham are the side that really worry me. Two options; either they frazzle & die as a result of their European exertions, or they don't. Too close to call at the moment. But as I said yesterday, auto is between Saints, Hammers, Birmingham, Cardiff, & ourselves.

The difference is that our squad is full of talent (Kasper, Mills, Bamba, Koncheskey, Wellens, King, Gallagher, Nugent, Beckford, Fernandes and Johnson could all walk into any championship team IMO) but it is underperforming. We're starting to look like we thought we would close season now and god help teams that play us <ok>

Well there you go then. Howson has looked good to me in a fairly mediocre squad which I expect to finish between 8th-12th

When have I said that Lonergan is poor? Never have. I class him as a good championship goalkeeper. Would I swap him for Kasper? Never in a million years.

He'll be disappointed he's fifth, he was winning by quite some margin a while back. <laugh>

Leicester have no decent attacking talent other than Beckford and even he needs feeding from a midfield that doesn't have any width or even wants to know.

Your squad is really, really no better than ours.

Leeds 5th, Leicester 9th. You seem to be a bit deluded, believe you will win the play off final but Leeds won't get promoted despite been 4 places above you. As I said like 95% of your fellow brethren, your delusional. Leicester City= self proclaimed champions before the season even started won't even get to the play offs.

don't watch most of your squad enough to judge, but Lonergan's much better than Kasper, and we dropped beckford in league 1,didn't shine with Everton so maybe will struggle in this league.

Beckford did more than good enough for Everton. 8 Premier League goals when he didn't play too many matches.

The Lonergan better than Schmeichel argument has been done to death, don't waste your breath because they don't want to listen to people who've seen far more of both of them. He claims to have seen plenty of Lonergan and failed to notice that he's not missed a trick all season...

So just to sum things up,Leeds United are superior to Leicester in the following departments-

    Team,squad,league position,fanbase,home attendance,away following,ground,training ground,history,tradition,trophies won.

    End of.

Beckford played 34 games to score 8 with Everton,to be honest without Becchio doing all his work don't think he would have scored half his goals.Leicester aint got a Becchio so don't be surprised if Beckford ends up a total failure.
Don't get me wrong, had his day at Leeds but wouldn't want him back.
    A fit somma's a better player IMO.

Agree with you mostly. Beckford is a modern day Leeds legend in my eyes and I will always remember some of his goals, but he moved on at the right time and we've now got McCormack who can do the same thing but is much better in link up/overall play.

a large number of Beckford's appearances for Everton were sub appearances late on in games. 8 goals is still a decent return for a striker who's just come up from League One, and he had a good partnership with Saha.
