Tips / Bets Promotion? Relegation? Mid table mediocrity?

We've been signing 3rd tier caliber players for over a year whilst moving on most of those showing the ability to perform at a higher level. We should congratulate the club's management and ownership for such long term planning.

Promotion is nailed on.

Half decent second tier team sells their 2 best players. (Best by some considerable distance mind).

Team then implodes. Nothing can stop the collapse and one of the worst half season performance of any club ever ensues.

Club then sells a couple of larkers who occasionally looked almost half decent.

And signs a new Captain who hasn't played for 18 months, because he couldn't get anywhere near his club's first team who were decidedly meh.

Also signs a handful of nondescript nonentities.


And keeps the worst manager the club has ever had in the job for reasons that cannot be explained.



Never mind relegation, we will finish bottom with a record low of points.

 

We're heading for the bowels of ignominy.

I think we’ll do playoffs minimum, not sure terry will be at the helm though.
A bad start 6-8 games he’s gone, Ehab despite everything knows we at least need to be in the championship. A l1 club is no good for his image above all else.
If we don’t go up then I think come next summer as much as Ehab doesn’t want to sell now he’ll lose interest by then and sell

We will finish 17th. I don't know if that's what I said yesterday, or if I predicted 16th or 18th or 19th or some other ****ty position. I don't really know where we'll finish because I am neither a Time Lord nor the Oracle of Delphi. All I can say with absolute certainty is that we won't be promoted, and hopefully will prove to be just unshitty (is that a word?) enough to stave-off a successive relegation.

With this clueless twit of a Manager we'll be lucky to make mid-table. To challenge for promotion two things have to change. McNutt has to go...soon. And we need to sign 1-2 goalscoring strikers.

Midfield should be much improved over last year if the captain Smallwood stays healthy. Docherty is a great addition. The back four look ok. Long is a question mark. Maybe Ingram takes over.

McNutt gone. New strikers in. We're a promotion candidate !!

 

The longer McCann is at the helm the more I want to change ‘Mid Table’ to ‘Relegation’.
