Which would you rather

  • Promotion to the Premier League with the Allams remaining in charge

  • Not going up and a greater chance they leave

To see them topping up at the training ground and making out as if they are supporting Nige and the lads now they are doing well. The sniff of a playoff chance must mean they smell money. I just can’t stomach it really and I still don’t believe they won’t sell players if it suits. Loved the bit about beating the white ****e in the play offs but I will take the championship and new owners.

If it’s a guarantee of them selling then no promotion!
However I don’t believe they’ll sell whatever league we’re in. I have no idea what they want anymore.
So, not that it’s realistic anyway, no promotion!

I know my comments don’t count for much as i only get to go to games when I return for a brief holiday, but to be honest I actually prefer being in the championship rather than the premier league (even though this means I don’t get the chance to watch every game on tv).
The reason i prefer the championship is, we get the chance to win more games than we do in the premier league. When they announce the fixtures in the premier league and look through the months, its a case of, we might scrape a win there, draw that one if we are lucky, not sure we will get many points in that month..... whereas in the championship we have a good chance of winning a whole lot more than we lose (obviously doesn’t always happen). I tend to agree with Dennis’s comments about just not doing enough to go up. Although if and when we do go up, I’m as pleased as punch, I just know what’s coming up.

While we are ****, crowds are down and they are losing a lot of money and so have to sell. Unfortunately no buyer is going to be interested.i suspect there was a will to sell, but no buyer. They are greedy bastards but had we carried on struggling, I believe they'd have been forced to sell.

As we have improved, there is sudden premature talk of play offs, individual players suddenly become saleable assets. Crowds will no doubt increase, reducing their ongoing losses. Allams start becoming interested again. The club becomes more attractive and saleable until they shove another few million on the asking price.

So I haven't a clue, keep the good run going while the transfer window is open. Those boycotting return for a few weeks, goading them into financing a promotion push and committing to further debt. Then the wheels fall off, with a massive slump in form/ attendances and so an increase in their spiralling losses, forcing them to sell.

Re promotion, I love the journey, mixed feelings about the destination.

Bang on

20 games to go, 40 points will get us in the playoffs.

OPINION
As easy as that? You're probably not far off, and that's why I think everyone's getting a little carried away. A win today and some will be booking London hotels.
Only TWS have achieved two points per game so far this season. Does anyone really think we have a good enough squad to be the best team in the league in the second half of the season? Allams are suppose to be backing a play off bid, but look at the players he is talking about bringing in. They are certainly not 'top of championship' level.
