The only clubs to care about who goes up are the ones that are always in a relegation battle. They want teams that will go straight down again. The Premier League bosses only care about the top six remaining in the league (on not going to some Euro League franchise with no relegation). The teams in the bottom half do not provide them with an income.

I would like to see Norwich or Brentford taking the 3rd place, failing that anyone apart from Wolves. Looking at who comes down from the Premiership - I want to see both Leicester and Hull City survive because so many of their fans have come on here and wished us well. I also don't want to see QPR drop (we need at least one real derby next year). Who do others want to see survive in the Prem - Villa because of Sherwood, Burnley because of SD ?. I want Preston to be the second side coming up to the championship, with Sheff Utd via the play offs - anyone but the franchise Dons !

I'd like to see Brentford, if they can grab a play-off spot, not because of Warburton - not overly keen on him - but GFZ, if the rumours are true.. I suspect that the current bottom three in the Premiership will be the unlucky ones at the end of the season, although Sunderland may be saved if Newcastle continue the recent form - am not particularly bothered about any of them really.

I'd prefer Preston over the Dons - but that would mean Colchester & Gavin Massey dropping down, although they are probably doomed anyway. :( Would like to see Chesterfield pip the Dons in the play-off final - like us, they're coming through some recent hard times.

I am glad Bournemouth have gone up as have friends down there who have supported them through the bad times - plus I may be 'BournemouthKev' soon!

As for the final place. It would be quite amusing if Brentford got the spot and you'd imagine we'd have a better chance of staying up than them, otherwise I guess I am not too fussed

I like the idea of us, Bournemouth and Brentford going up (sorry Dave) because that will mean three little teams getting promotion. That will really piss off the 'big' clubs that believe that they have a divine right to premiership football.

In reality I don't think Brentford will get into the play-offs, so Norwich will make an admirable alternative.

Wolves appear to have a mountain to climb - being last of the contenders with the worst goal difference. Derby and Brentford both have on paper "easy" home games against sides out of form / relegated. Ipswich have a tough trip to Blackburn - if they do lose they could miss out on goal difference / goals scored as Brentford would only need a 2-0 win to overtake them
