nobody has considered the following.. 1 point is no good to Barnsley, they have to attack, they'll leave open some space at times & we're better on the counter..
It certainly will not be a gimme - we're on their patch, look at the last two performances against teams in the bottom 3. One point from 6.
there is more chance Leicester will beat Watford than there is us beating Barnsley. We don't score goals simple as that ! Who is going to score a goal for us ? Simpson ? A Brady free kick ?
Boyd is probably the most likely but Meyler, Simpson, Quinn and Faye can score, as well as Koren, Fryatt and maybe Gedo (if fit) off the bench.
I'll be cheering for Leicester in the playoffs regardless if we go up. EDIT: Well no, I'm not going to start cheering, but I'd want Leicester to win them.
Its often the case that if you have a stormer of a game like Watford did last week then the next game falls a bit flat. I am hoping that is the case anyway. Want us to win on Saturday regardless of the Friday score. We need to start celebrating.
Where are all the conspiracy theories when you need them?......Hows about this one?.....Half the team are out of contract at the end of the season and many of them know that if we get up into the Premier league they won't be getting a new one but if we are still in the Championship then there's a chance that they will.....see where I'm going with this?....getting close to the end of the season and try as hard as they might to **** things up we're still there in 2nd spot thanks to our rivals doing likewise....oh ****! Away to 2nd bottom of the table, Wolves, valiant performance (hah) but get beat. Bring on Brizzle City at home, they're already relegated so if we play **** we can always say they had no pressure on them. Barnsley are resurgent, playing out of their skins at the moment to stave off relegation so if we screw up there it's probably to be expected and nobody in their right minds would expect us to do anything against the league CHAMPIONS Cardiff, would they? Well, tough **** guys, you've left it too late 'cos your friend and mine, Mr. Flat-top is going to lead his Lester Lovelies to victory over Watford on Friday night and there's **** all you can do about it! Get in..
Further to my previous tongue in cheek post I think I would actually like to go up through the play-offs, quite fancy another exciting day out at Wembley (if the old ticker could stand it). For that scenario to happen would mean that Leicester did us no favours on Friday so would probably not make it to the play offs but if they did we would play them first, imagine how sweet it would be to dump them out en-route to the Final.
Personally I am more confident of Leicester beating Watford than I am of us beating Barnsley. Just think that if we are left to our own devises, and the way we are playing, that we will bottle it.
Serving some mug up down the juicer for getting lemon. Gave him a right hander right in his canister. The SLAG!!!!! Either that or he's just washing the breakfast dishes for mummy and is about to give his bounce a quick shine before coming on here. You decide.
