Progress check:

11th February, 2023: 11th with 41 points from 31 games, with a -7 goal difference having just drawn 0-0 away at Stoke.

11th February 2024: 8th with 45 points from 30 games, with a +4 goal difference after a 0-1 home defeat to Swansea.

Conclusion: Progress made.
Interesting.
Progress but hardly impressive given all the backing he's had, a full pre season, another 12 months to get his philosophy embedded, ...etc.
We need to really kick on now.

What, you think we're significantly outspending Middlesboro, Norwich, West Brom, Sunderland, Cov - even Stoke etc do you?

Were just catching up from being in L1 3 years ago 9k crowds, Flores on a free and 2 relegation scraps.

So it's all about who is "significantly outspending" who? Ah, rite.
You make it sound like he inherited a train wreck. He didn't. After 3 windows of support from Acun we were 11th a year ago, only 4 to 7 points less than where we are 12 months later, (with 2 more windows gone).

He did inherit a train wreck. We were in a relegation scrap.

And yeah, unfortunately, available resources (see ffp) are a significant factor in success ratios in the championship.

Were outperforming our budget ahead of a lot more who aren't.

We've spent most of the season in and around the playoffs, I wouldn't say that wasn't impressive given that 12 months ago we were desperate to climb away from a relegation battle.

Rosenior has been backed, like you say he now needs to repay that faith or he'll be axed.

I think we'll be in the playoffs. I don't fancy us to win them, but who knows?

As long as Acun maintains a healthy perspective on social media and provides investment and stability, we'll get where we need to be.

Hang on a minute, does a full pre season count when most of the players came in after pre season?
Of course it does.
Coyle, Greaves, Jones, Macca, Christie, Slater, Doc, Tufan, Connolly off the top of my head, and then players brought in hand picked to fit the system.

And how many soft tissue injuries have we seen from that bunch?

Obviously conditioning isn't going to make a **** of difference to impact or skeletal injuries...

The main problem was Shota rather than the players that Rosenior inherited. The club and squad was nothing like a train wreck.

Woods, figs, sinik, Vale, pelkas ...

Fat Ozan.

Worst defensive record in the entire professional structure, then 4th best in the champ from the point Liam took over ..
