Off Topic Problems With Not 606 Android App

Since the server crash my Android app keeps crashing when I try and open it.

I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, but no luck.

Anyone having the same problems?

The app used to be far worse than the mobile site. It just went to the main forum menu rather than subscribed forum or last forum visited. Not sure if it was changed, but I'd expect not.

I can't believe I'm the only one that uses a separate email address for anything like this forum?
In fact I use one for almost everything that requires a log in that I never check
I may we'll be getting loads of emails, but not on the email address I actually use
 
I used to use the Android app. But there's really no point. This site is beautifully optimised for mobile. Just navigate to the site via Google and select 'Add to Home Screen'. You get a not606 shortcut on your homescreen which will open in the clean, stripped back browser which Android offers (the same as when you click an external link on Facebook or Twitter). You get pretty much the full functionality of the site, which I don't think the apps offer.

Multiple e-mails irritate me. If I absolutely have to have a separate one for something I'll generally set it up to redirect. My girlfriend has about 50 accounts (all slight variations of each other) and she never knows which is which, so sending her something or logging into a site on her behalf, is a right pain.

I only have three
One I actually use for important stuff (and immediately block anyone who emails me something unimportant
One with my name for normal stuff you need to log into, but I never read it
One for anonymous stuff...like this!!
 
yep, not working at all on my android phone since the crash, not that there's anything going on at the moment other than that bizarre thread about EA yesterday, will start to do my head in come Friday tho no doubt
