This has to be the biggest load of bollocks ever. The membership of the FA does not want to relinquish any decision making responsibilities to supporters, it's being ordered to by the government. The PL hate supporters direct with a vengeance and will stop funding at the drop of a hat. It is a commonly held belief by PL owners that the supporters are simply customers. The biggest joke of all is that one of your CI mates forced Assem Allam into making the application earlier than he had planned to. As for Not 606 turning to ****e, funny that its gone that way since you came on here, so **** off and post somewhere else.
this tread was initially about being pro the name change, I for one am for it myself. I quite like Hull Tigers, it is growing on me. Next season, it will be interesting to see just how many anti-name change campaigners swallow their pride and return to here to support the team and how many **** off and start their own forum.
Since i came here? i've been here before the proposed name change of Hull City A.F.C. The FA are to talk to supporters group's and the groups are to get together a proposal to send off to them. We've met the FA & PL and they've pretty much said they're behind us. I'd love to comment on the situation more but they're some things im refusing to post.
I don't know. I might still go, even though I'm opposed to the name. I'm fcuked if someone is going to steal my football club from me. I'm sure lots of others will too. We'll probably still sing CTID on 19.04 too. At some point we'll have a different owner, who understands football a bit more than AA does, and the name will more than likely be restored. I'll probably wait until after the FA have made their decisions before I decide what the future holds for me at my football club. Plastic? Nah. Plastic is letting this happen in the first place without even making a stand against it. Shamefully plastic.
Sorry I shouldnt have said plastic, ****ing plastic is more like it. Make your stand say "I will never pay to watch Hull Tigers" if you cant say it now you never will and that makes you no better that a Man U plastic.
I've heard some 5hite spouted on message boards over the years, but that's a good contender for the biggest pile yet. My word. The irony of being called a plastic by someone who is prepared to see his club re-named like some semi-professional rugby league outfit
Correction; the campaign has DONE its job. It's brought national and international attention to the situation, to the point that the FA are now left with no choice but to step in and decide what happens. My guess is that, thankfully, they will knock it back. The most bizarre aspect of it all has been that, while just about every right-minded follower of the game supports our resistance to the name change, we have a few people actually here, at the club itself, who buck that trend. An embarrassment.
