Where did you read this? I can't find it anywhere and the price is still holding up at the moment on betfair. Surely it would be a lot bigger than 5.3 if a decision had been made?
With Tiggy Wiggy out I really fancy Sole Power again, best horse in Europe over 5 furlong. Looks like the weather will be dry apart from a little rain on Saturday so he should have decent ground. 5/2 a ladcrooks so have taken a chunk of that and had a double with Taghrooda @ 5/1 double pays 20/1
Advance going forecast is good-to-soft for Sunday. Bit of rain possible on Saturday, otherwise seems to be staying pretty dry in the Paris area. (Source: RP & BBC).
Stick's got his fingers in more ****ing pies, knew Tiggy Wiggy wasn't running before the ****ing owners did
There has been no official word on whether Tiggy Wiggy will miss the race or not as of yet. Speculation has started to mount because Paddy Power have shortened the odds on Sole Power – owned by the wife of their founder – in the expectation that the two year old will either not show up or that because Richard Hughes cannot do the weight on the filly he will retain his association with the Irish sprinter and Hannon will get in a lightweight for her.
This sounds pretty definitive QM: http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/9496354/tiggy-wiggy-and-muthmir-miss-abbaye
"She's not going and that's her done for the season," Hannon told the Racing Post. He added: "She puts a lot into her races and I think she's done enough for the season."
Sorry stick, I was only going by what I had read in the Racing Post printed edition, which is always at least ten hours out of date. Oddy posted a link to the story on the Sporting Life website. It should be in tomorrow’s copy... Hopefully they will not mess about with the Guineas next year and just stick to sprinting and head for Royal Ascot.
George Baker unseated from Cotai Glory for a second time then. The 2YO will be supplemented for the Abbaye tomorrow. Old boy Ryan Moore will take over in the saddle. Isn’t this heat though rather like the Arc itself and almost always draw dependent???
Forecast Paris area is for heavy rain showers Saturday evening, otherwise fine weather. (Source: BBC).
