Don't want to labour the point Bobby, but I posted that about Huddles 3 weeks back when I was told it by two seperate individuals with no connection.

He was targeted by Malky before the Capoue bid but was put on ice whilst the Froggie made up his mind.

Caulker's arrival since is an added advantage. <ok>

not for me, huddlestone is a player who flatters to deceive, problem is, he's been in and out of a top PL team for years, and being chucked in to what could be a scrap for survival (god forbid), and i dont think he's got the qualities we need. i'd rather mutch and whitts over him, and go for capoue, if he doesnt sign then rethink......

I mentioned elsewhere that it wouldn't harm to have a couple players who have played together before. Whichever way round we approached players I'm sure Caulker could help attract Huddlestone (unless they've had a bust up in the past).

remote!
Huddlestone wished him well on twitter and hailed him as a great signing for us.

Mabs!
Please understand why I have had to go down this route with this thread m8. I do feel guilty where you and several others are involved.

I really don't see Huddlestone happening. He's a bit like Witts, very good on the ball but not a dynamic all action centre mid and certainly not great defensively.

Capoue is obviously what Mm wanted, Mbia is similar in style though a poor mans version. I'll be surprised if our new centre mid (whoever he is) doesn't get around the park a lot better than huddlestone.

Heard Capoue likes to party .... The Capital may suit him (Wales Capital that is <ok> )

Stevoldino!
If reports are to be believed fella Capoue is now another rejection. As an alternative Huddleston might be a credible alternative. Hopefully the Capoue reports are false but I don't think they are.

I'm sure the Capoue deal is dead. He's waiting for atletico Madrid apparently.

Just don't think Huddlestone is an alternative, much more likely we sign Mbia or someone not even mentioned.

I'd love to see Huddlestone here at Cardiff, got shouted down on twitter with the built at sloper road gang.
