He added: "People called me a 'tactically inept cabbage-head'. I really have to thank all the people who have worked alongside me, because I can be demanding and I can be hard work - especially when I was younger.

"When we get beat, I get very low, but when you are managing in the Premier League with Birmingham, Wigan, Hull, Sunderland you do get better at dealing with it. You have to.

"By the time I got to Newcastle, I thought I could handle everything thrown at me but it has been very, very tough. To never really be wanted, to feel that people wanted me to fail, to read people constantly saying I would fail, that I was useless, a fat waste of space, a stupid, tactically inept cabbage-head or whatever. And it was from day one.

Well it is posted by the Berk

Pritchard will be a key player for us I think. He has been over shadowed by Embo and Neil, which is brilliant. He looks to be getting his match sharpness back now and I posted earlier his hand in Ross first goal was a bit of genius. The fact we signed a player sold for £20m plus in the past but they cant be first choice due to our academy products is just brilliant. LJs job now in my opinion is to get all of them making a major contribution and he is making a good fist of it so far. To have so many technically good footballers across the park is so exciting.

I'm struggling to see what he offers us, all I see is another failing Williams who according to Swindon on Tour is ripping up the fourth division

A week ago at the Gillingham game said exactly the same to my mate. But then on Tuesday I thought he had an excellent game.

I think there is a good player in there. Happy to trust our recruitment team on this one.
I said similar about Winchester last season but he has come good Hopefully Pritchard can find his place
