I understand how Alex Pritchard no longer fits into the Model that has been set to progress our Team.

And, so far, this model is working very well.

But even the best of systems has to have some scope for exceptions, and given his massive contribution to The Team, he should surely be one.

Simple question.
Is the Team better with him.
In my view YES.
If so keep him.

Personally, I cannot understand why no Club came in for him in the Summer.
But I'm glad.

shame if he does leave, he hunts for the ball and chases everything...sometimes the way he 'steals' the ball off players without having to make a tackle is sublime, his overall contribution in games is massive.

the likes of clarke and roberts tend to get plenty of credit but this lad keeping the play moving with his quick eye and movement is essential to our game.

Pritchard is great and this season he has been playing brilliantly. I'd like him to stay with us however the team doesn't fall apart without him. Dack can play a similar role and has goals in him too. The team can adapt without Pritchard in numerous forms but he has been a fantastic asset to have,

I wonder if Pritch has a good season whether the club might change it's stance and offer him an extra year? Suppose that would depend on what league we are in as I'm not sure he'd be able to do it at PL level....

Knowing Speakman as we do, there's likely zero chance of a change in policy. Even though we've tied O9 up until he's 33
