Probably playing Tamas just confirmed his decision. It was obviously his last chance to make an impression and he didn't take it.
he was probably told on saturday... get on there, show us what you can do, fill ya boots. unfortunately for him he did show us what he can do....diddly squat.
Counago version 2. We have NO space for lazy players who have zero interest in being here. The only one time he went on a decent run, Keane messed him around. He's had countless opportunities with us, doesn't put any effort in and I'm delighted he's gone. He also did nothing when on loan at Derby and Swansea. Shame it hasn't worked but sometimes you have to move forwards. Cheerio Tamas, thanks for absolutely nothing.
Shame really, I (Naively) thought he could pull himself together and be a great player at this level. I still think someone half decent may take a punt on him especially as he's a freebie. As for him being useless I have to say we really didn't play the right football for him to have an impact. He was clearly a panic buy.. In what aspect is he a Roy Keane type of player? He was doomed to fail really and the fact we spent a few bob on him only magnified the frustrations, this time last season most people thought Scotland was useless and now he is clearly our biggest goal threat! I hope that this means we will bring in another striker this window and good luck to Tamas wherever he goes
I heard he was offered a new contract but he is looking for more..................................200 minutes and 500 texts............ some people are never happy.
Agree King of Portman road, there is a good player in there somewhere. I remember seeing the video of him on youtube with his last season at Watford and thinking we had just signed one hell of a player!! This time last year and in the first few months of last season he looked our best player. Clearly a confidence player, with good management at the right club could well be a decent player, I still think he could have been decent for us, although I understand why we chose to get rid. Could never really understand why Keane bought Priskin or Martin as neither fitted into his style of play. And Westlake yeah don't bring Pablo into this, what a player, he may of had a few terrible games but what he could do sometimes was worth paying a ticket for!!

I actually quite liked Pablo! Surely you can see the comparison ? Both have tonnes of ability. I think we'd all admit Pablo has underachieved during his career. To being part of the Spanish Under 21 group of 1999 including XAVI, and top scoring... something went wrong somewhere ! Priskin was far far worse though. Zero application - wonder who will take the gamble on Tamas ! ?
Yes I do agree with the comparison, they were similar players except Pablo preffered to drop deeper and Priskin likes to play on the shoulder of the last defender or mainly offside!! As to who will take a gamble, I wouldn't really be surprised at whoever took him tbh, he could be signed by a low premier league side yet at the same time could be signed by a league one team, I'd imagine he'll end up going to play abroad though.
