This is true, but a good starting point is here:

This has proven to be a pretty good measure point- if a club doesn't want to sell, the player will cost around twice this value. In extraordinary cases like for Andy Carroll it can be as much as three times the value. I'd imagine we could get him for around 4-5m

If it was 4-5 million I would be delighted. Really depends if Man City still want him, I imagine as he only 20 they would keep their options open for a season or 2 more.

I did read a few weeks ago that bayern Munich wanted him, dont know if there was any truth in it or not! Would be a cracking signing but I dont think he will be one of our targets. You want to look at fulham, who ever they get linked with were probably after them too <laugh>

Clyne would be awesome if we couldn't get Naughton but I think he is going to United? However that could leave him available for a season loan in the Prem..

I'd like Naughton, Bridcutt, Snoddy, Curtis Davies, Rodriguez, Pacheco.

Out - Crofts, Ward, Barnett, Lappin.

There were lots of rumours surrounding Clyne to united but nothing seemed to come of them. They maybe just that, rumours. The price been branded around was about 2.5 million so wouldn't be out of our price range.

i follow the dutch leagues as my family are dutch so have watched a few Guidetti matches. He reminds me of van Nistelrooy, a real poacher. his goal scoring record does include a lot of pens though but he is a big strong lad and know where to be in the box

Welcome to the board <ok>

What Dutch team do you follow then? if any

My family have adopted Feyenoord as our Dutch team so we look out for them. My brother, old man and sister went out there to watch them when they had Kuyt, Castelan, Kalou etc.

Well Hello,

I used to post on here when we all initially migrated but been aloof since so will try and be a bit more proactive.

I follow Groningen predominantly as that is where my family live. Didnt have the best one this season unfortunately.

Yeah there have been some good players. Finished 14 this season after starting off well. Season before they lost the play off for the europe league in extra time after coming back in the second half from a 3-goal deficit. As Groningen they have only been around 40 years but the club before is pretty old.

Do you think he has the potential to be back up to a new RB next season? Pleased he has got a new deal, looks a decent player and certainly seems to get on well with the others in the team.

I know PL thinks highly of him and that will do for me! <ok>

I think next season will be his defining year!

Saw Swansea linked with Guedetti (?) from Man City. Never mentioned it before as I thought he was out of our price range, but maybe not. Very good player by all accounts, my friend who is a Feyenoord fan says he was fantastic for them, a really good finisher and good movement. Would have to see more, but maybe worth a punt if he is not too expensive.

Would like to see Bridcutt as a defensive mid. Would be an outstanding signing and is a young hungry Lambert type player.

Clyne from Palace has received many admirers and rumours of big clubs going for him, but I don't suppose he is prohibitively expensive so maybe worth a go for a RB.

Ince from Blackpool would be quality, although I imagine many clubs will thing the same. Mattock is a decent young LB from what I have seen maybe good back up if Drury goes.

Swansea fan.

Your list is very similar to mine
