Unlucky mate You need to let it go really and just get to hoping they never get anywhere. Inter and ****ed financially so if anything they'll buy a stake and send Martinez to Newcastle
Seriously now Munse - who, realistically, do you think might come? I think you might be able to tempt: Martial (coz I think he's a bit of a mercenary and wants a bumper pay rise) Lindgard - coz he won't be getting much playing time - but you are up against West Ham. Barclay - coz nobody else is really interested. Hamza Choudhry - needs game time (had a fine game against Liverpool last night btw) Kieran Trippier - coz I think he wants to come home - but nobody in the top 10 is that interested.
Don't know really but it won't be hard to improve the squad and the first 11. The thing is deep down we all know that in the future nufc will be competing and the higher they get the better they can fish for. It might take years and years or it might happen quicker than people expect and I don't care really its just nice knowing they can improve the product. The buyers are the reubans brothers and the public investment fund of Saudi Arabia... These are not the Venky brothers or your average bunch of idiots.. Far from it mate they'll get there. . All those players I'd take btw
Newcastle have made disgruntled Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum a January transfer target
Exactly it makes no sense.. Why wait 18 months to buy nufc and then just decide to throw away billions on inter. If anything inter would be used to feed newcastle because the premier league is where the money is. Inter a great club though far bigger than Newcastle. This story went on throughout the takeover saga and our owners said they didn't buy inter or Milan because there's no financial opportunity. PIF are essentially going to buy a small stake in inter and marseille and feed nufc
I dont really lose sleep over any of this, but Marseille is a far better purchase than some Italian club.
Nothing to worry about and tbh I don't care as long as newcastle isn't as **** as it has been for the last 14 years... Just having a little flutter every now and then will do
Even if they only invest the minimum I am assured its far, far more than Ashley did. Vision is more important than raw cash, Ashley could have done fine as owner if he had a few football people in position and some ****ing vision
It's realistic this one.. I'm enjoying the ott links but obviously we can't just start signing the elite. He was highly rated and went to Milan where he flopped, so his stocks low and that doesn't mean he can't play.he scored 31 goals in Brazil last season. I can see this one happening as we were linked when he opted for elsewhere in the past. Cheif scout nixon obviously fancies him.
Ashley just didn't care about the club and didn't want to compete. He knew it would cost too much, but he definitely could've like you say have done better. The managerial appointments for example.
Sorry depay the Dutch guy that flopped at Manchester. It's probably easier to say who aren't newcastle linked to. Some ridiculous, some underwhelming but all better than Hayden
