I'm not writing off meeting in the Championship next season. It would be a very Newcastle thing to do

Aye though, I love the derby. That day is different level to any other fixture in the country, imo. It'll be even more intense now and could spark a lot of trouble seeing us return to banning each others fans from the stadiums so we'll have to keep the Saudi stuff lighthearted (ish)

 

Could still go down like yeah, I want to see against Spurs two things - who's the manager and how do the players respond. I am not as worried now if we drop as I was last week, but it would just be a massive step backwards.

Derbies were always something intense we looked forward too, now every single game is the same.
