Same here as in this case we're talking about. He will generally do what he wants and be bare-faced about it. To him doing it isn't bringing the royals into disrepute - whether that's freeloading or shagging some trafficked girl, even though to the rest of us it is. Nobody will kick up a fuss so he and the royal don't really care... unless he has to admit it publicly, then him and not just him but he knows the royal hierarchy, would consider it as damaging.

Edit: My other thing about it not happening in its 1000+ years history is just pointing out how deluded they are in thinking there's not been plenty already in their history that's already brought them into disrepute countless times.
i thought you meant same here as in the UK <laugh>

and again the Beeb were minor fish compared to the NHS .

Can you believe both provided him with a bed in their building ffs! TOTP gave him a bed in his dressing room where he had underage girls he'd pick out from the crowd to be ushered in to. And the NHS (Stoke Madeville hospital iirc) gave him his own bedroom ffs. It's absolutely mental.

I was watching that. It was Sparks bassist.

I find it incredible that this could happen and that he was protected by the BBC while he was doing it.

Seeing his state funeral at the start for ****s sake! And then it was a matter of weeks before it all came out.

Weirdly protected by Prince Charles as well, all very strange.

The BBC should be brought to book. They can't just say ah well it was in the past. **** that, they should be implicated and prosecuted.

They knew. As an institution, they ****ing knew.
The police knew. The government knew. They were both in a position to do something about it.
He spent Christmas with the Prime Minister, instead.
Cyril Smith was bang to rights on numerous occasions and they protected him.
The question is, who got what for doing it?

Aye they should, but as that programme showed he was protected from all sorts, including hospitals, members of the government, the royals. If they go after the bbc they'll be opening a pandora's box of people being associated with turning a blind eye, brushing aside accusations or even covering up.

They should definitely go after the beeb and individuals though, whether they're still there or retired.

There was a bloke on another Leeds forum, that said just after Saville died and before all this was common knowledge, that he actually punched Saville sometime in the 70's, he walked in to the nurses quarters when a couple of girls were changing and actually groped this fellas girlfriend, she told him when he went to pick her up, he did what the rest of us would have done, by his own admission he wasn't a fighter so it was over with very quickly as a couple of porters broke it up. He reckons he and his girlfriend were warned, by the hospital managers not to make things awkward if she wanted to continue working as a nurse and 2 girls in a changing room would be made look liars if they pursued things.

Good, I hope he broke a few teeth and more. The worst thing about this now is nothing can be done about it and he died having never faced the utter damnation and condemnation of the public. The complete and utter fall from grace and died having lived the rest of his days rotting in prison. Instead he died being thought of by the vast majority as an admired figure.

That’s when he wasn’t busy shagging corpses in the morgue.

Barclays boss Jes Staley resigns. He's "shell-shocked, angry and upset" at the conclusion of a probe into his links to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein which has led to his sudden exit from the bank.

Insiders close to Mr Staley said he was surprised by City regulators' findings.

They have been investigating if Mr Staley's links with the dead financier were closer than first thought.

Barclays said it had been made aware of the conclusions of the probe and "Mr Staley's intention to contest them".

At the heart of Mr Staley's departure is apparently a perceived inconsistency between his account to his own board of his relationship with Epstein and evidence seen by the regulators.

Why not pushed rather than resigned. Also why would he be shell-shocked, IF there is any inclining of a link with Epstein it puts the bank at risk, or at the very least subject to scrutiny, he shouldn't even need that explaining. Sounds to me like he's squealing a bit too loudly.

The FCA have been all over his arse for over 3 years, so he’s been used to riding out storms, like a £650k personal fine for trying to identify a whistleblower. Another bent Sherman banker, shocked.

He's a **** plain and simple.

The most damning thing for scum like him and Andy is they continued to be bezzies with Epstein AFTER he was convicted of being a nonce. They're as scummy as him imo.

Btw did you hear a couple of weeks ago that Andy has to give a statement of his accounts..... by next April <doh>

And he's perfectly entitled to refuse to do so if he feels there's nothing he can say that would have any bearing. <doh>

The case is dead.
