Apparently the meeting was more to do with top clubs trying to earn themselves a permanent place in the Champions League
 
Not that most football fans would care, but I think it would be horrible for the Champions of leagues in Andorra, the Faroes, Scotland and Luxembourg, who rely on the money for those Champions league ties for income.

Some kind of pre season tournament in a year with no summer internationals would be great to watch, but canning the Champions League would be a massive **** up.

Now BT Sport has the Champions League/Europa League it's as if we've left Europe already anyway,,,,
