You've won nothing yet, so **** off back with ya scummy northern mates and come back when you've actually got promoted!!
Bookmarked Oh and if you want another prediction, opposition will have worked you out next season, (actually they have already) your coach will probably leave, 12th for you next year but at least you’ll avoid relegation to league 1
One of the many differences between the two sides is that Leeds United can’t afford to not go up, whilst Town will keep building and improving however the rest of the season plays out.
We may well see you in the play-offs, that would be a tasty fixture. We, or the ref, gifted them 2 goals in first 8 mins. We outplayed them 2nd half, we will be back.
I am sure that if Moore had started, we wouldnt have lost the game. Jackson or Jacka... s as Spanish affectionately calls him, is a league 1 player who tries hard but offers little. Keiffer came on and made an instant impact and gives us a different option and another way to play the game. Lyall and other teams have sussed out our plan A over last 8 weeks. The 2nd half showed us how we can perform and we outclassed PNE. So we badly need a plan B and having Moore start gives us that option. If it’s to be the play offs for us at least we should have a stronger team scoring goals again. And I was impressed by Hutch and Hadami too. Tbh, the ref had a shocker and KM got it wrong, and Edmundson scores our 4th OG! The gaffer remains optimistic and I am sure the travelling fans will have been cheered by that turnaround.
We won’t need a fire sale next season, we’ve about 11 players out on loan, Sinisterra is already on the verge of joining Bournemouth for £20m When you say Town will keep building and improving, your best players will keep leaving and you’ll keep having to attempt to replace. Championship is really the pits
I’ve already said I can see this season being Derby all over again, we trounced them twice then slipped up in the playoffs. If we don’t go up, we’ll be playing you again next season
We are thriving and punching way above our weight. We have not lost any best players, only those who did us proud moving up from L1 to where we are now. We are now attracting prem players as we steadily develop.
Put my match thing on tomorrow, you will play worse and win although I'd ditch the keeper pratting around trying to be Franz Beckenbauer, for those who weren't able to watch it the game was chosen for international coverage hence no I player coverage
We will keep playing that way out from the back. It earns us many more goals than it costs us. We were off the pace, or it would’ve been sharper.
Your keeper kicked the ball straight into touch more often than not, handing possession straight back to us. That makes no sense at all, does it?
That's the norm for us, having watched us all season at time little has made sense but you'll find that we are one of the worst when trying to pass to a team mate, only a personal view on it it does lead to risk
A bit like the post I was replying to then, an Ipswich fan who knows another teams finances and how many players need selling
As I've previously said,I'd put him on 'ignore' if that were possible.I now just skip past his 'contributions' and refuse to be drawn in.
Didn't watch the game but just watched the highlights, however badly we played first half first 2 goals should not have counted. Will Keane blatantly fouled Morsy to then rub salt in the wound got up hit a tame shot which deflected into the net. 2nd goal offside. 3rd goal was a poor mistake from Hladky but goals change games. Hurst has been a huge miss, he impacts on how we play a huge deal, there's more space for others and he occupies defenders. We now have 2 players who can be that presence upfront, shame we couldn't have got them earlier so McKenna didn't feel the need to start Jackson. Jackson is a midtable League 1 striker at best, he'd be better in a 2 up top and is decent in the press but he offers no presence uptop and considering his pace his movement is poor which means he doesn't make the most of it. Negative is we lost the match and now in 4th, we've had a challenging fixture list with some key players missing. Positives automatic promotion is still in our hands with 17 games to go even after a challenging couple of months. We now have fire power and actually replacements for Hirst who look like they will provide a better balance to the team and stretch teams more. The sooner Jackson isn't a justifiable consideration the better. On the 14th of February last year, we were 8 points behind 2nd place after a poor run of form...let's hope this season follows a similar pattern.
We can’t be blaming the ref and we can’t really be blaming Kayden Jackson either. First half to a man we were awful. We were slow, we kept giving the ball away. We invited pressure. Let’s give Preston their due. They pressed us, defended well and passed the ball fantastically in that first half and stifled us in the second half.
