Well, my Preston friend, here's what you might be facing Saturday:

    Hladky
    Clarke Woolf Edmundson Davis
    Morsy Luongo
    Burns Chaplin Broadhead
    Jackson

With these subs that KM will bring on around the 60-70 min mark:

    Moore, Ali, Sarmiento & Hutchinson

    Good luck!

Wot? A starting berth for Woolfy?

    I'd start

    Hladky
    Clarke | Woolfy | Edmundson | Davis
    Travis | Morsy
    Burns | Chaplin | Harness
    Sarmiento

McKenna is entirely predictable and he likes to stick rigidly with the same patterns for the first 60 - 70 minutes and then improvise late in the game and these new lads haven't had a chance to learn any patterns yet. McKenna will make attacking changes after an hour whatever the scoreline and we will see at least one of the new signings.

I was unwise to play Broady after my earlier comments. I think Sarmiento may well start.

Moore and Al Hamadi have got to train and tune into their teammates so they are not in my starting XI. Broadhead has to sit a few games out and get his head together. Sarmiento is our biggest goal threat after the two strikers so I'd start him as a false 9. Hutch is deputy to Burns wide right. Jackson doesn't even make the bench. Then Harness is the last man standing amongst the options to start in that left-sided attacking midfield / left forward role.

Well argued Hampy, lets see who he fields!
I would agree that he usually likes new players to learn our style of play and bed them in.
I would like to see Sarmiento start.

Don’t forget that Town have got most of the toughest fixtures out the way already… and we have two games in hand over Leeds. We’re into February and it’s still them playing catch up. I think if Leeds drop away again at any point the big egos will give up on it.

He is fit, raring to go so I think KM may well start with Moore, put the cat amongst the pigeons, on the front foot, and give the away fans a real shout. He is a seasoned Prem pro.
Al Hamadi & Hutch on at 70 to run rings around tired defense.

Sticking with a fine, resurgent performance and 2-0 away win. 2 fingers to the scum who think they are gonna win the league!

Hampy, I hope you are right. Fingers crossed that the new strikers get us up and running again.

This is not a good omen. Town are turning out in orange and I’ve gone with the home shirt. FFS.
