Although Preston probably deserved it this was a game where Lady Luck shone on one team

Baah should have scored and had a half chance for another, Sissoko was very unlucky when his header was cleared from what seemed behind the line and their first was clearly offside in all phases, the second was a mishit shot that fell perfectly for the scorer, Bayo then had his usual chances that he could not take yet again

Taking Ogbona off left us a bit too open at the back which led to their third goal

Lets hope Tom is learning more and more as we go on and is given that chance to learn

As a neutral you would say that Preston deserved that result because Watford missed their clear cut chances and Preston didn't

Well, two steps forward one back it seems.

When Bayo and Andrews came on did we change shape? As Bayo on for Ogbonna seems a strange one.

A home game before the break. Then Lootown away.

Seems to me the main issue was we missed 2/3 good chances whilst they took theirs generally through poor defensive play by us .

It is rather chalk and cheese at the moment has to be said !

Agreed...plus Clevs has almost admitted were werent set up defensively

Same defence as on Saturday too.

Guess he means we were too open.

Sounds like the midfield might as well not been there.

I'd rather keep Cleverley on and save money for new players in January.

Cannot keep blaming the manager - he probably would have scored those chances!

Clevs is a breath of fresh air IMO...and i think he will get there.... . if baah had scored that first goal... etc etc

As per your posts had we taken our early chances game may have had a different outcome but I cant see you hanging around the bottom half for too long

We could do with someone like the guy who scored your first two goals, he will be good for you if he calms down a bit and doesn't get into any more trouble
Possibly he may mature following his holiday

He looked good....and PNE looked so much more clinical as the game progressed
