Hopefully he will change the side up a bit, give Fahrmann, Famewo, Lewis, Leitner, Amadou, Roberts, Srbeny, Idah all starts. Stick another couple of youngsters on the bench

I think it's fair to say that we will not be challenging for the FA Cup again this season and I have my doubts that we will be challenging for the 4th round.
DF has already hinted that Pukki is likely to be rested to give his toe a chance to heal, which is fair enough, there are far bigger priorities to take into consideration.
I will just be happy that I can't watch it (assuming there is no stream coverage?)

Did you also notice the vote choices? Preston win, draw or Preston win

Seems Dunc is as confident as I am about this one <laugh>

No bloody Reading on the vote, a bloomin disgrace.

It would be great to finally progress at least one round in the cup, though I can't see it. Will he risk any front line players? I'm not sure I would want to risk Tettey, Honly or Zimmerman and that alone would mean we would struggle tremendously with Only yoff and Amadou as remaining options.

    Bah!

I think DF will rest a number of key players on Saturday. As we have limited options at CB it is odds-on that either Zimbo or Hoadley will have to play alongside one of the young-uns, same in midfield I guess with Amadou playing alongside Leitner or Trybull. I'd like to see Idah start as he looked sparky yesterday.

I agree to a large extent. Who needs the rest the most (Maybe Hannalangadingdong post injury and Xmas schedule) vs most important to the team (Almost certainly Zimmermann) When you put it that way regaring midfield, we don't look so weak. I too would love to see Idah get a run out, but that may very well depend on how much truth there is in the rumours of an imimant loan.

    Bah!

Pretty much confirmed by the press conference today, to guess:

    Fahrmann
    Byram Hanley Famewo Lewis
    Amadou Vrancic
    Buendia Stiepermann Hernandez
    Srbeny

Fahrmann presumably gets a chance, but otherwise it's hard to rotate much in defence. Could drop Amadou to CB again, but would rather see him given a chance in midfield. Would be very surprised to see either Tettey or Trybull involved, Vrancic perhaps as he continues to build match fitness?

Leitner might be an interesting one. Rumours of him "acting up" after the Brighton game appear to have been born out by his complete disappearance from the squad since. Will we look to rehabilitate, or move on in January?

In the attacking positions, a more physical championship-style game might call for Stiepermann, and it's an opportunity for him to put in a good performance. Although Pukki won't play so he can't rekindle that relationship they had last year. Onel in a wide position, then one of Buendia or Cantwell.

Thompson is back from his loan spell so I guess he could be involved, I think Srbeny is injured. Might see some of the u23s involved

Should have read the press briefing in full. Srbeny out with a back injury, so Stiepermann or Idah starting up front? Official website thinks Idah.

Fahrmann is out, Thompson and Bushiri not available (presumably cup tied)

No VAR just a three quarters empty ground for the majic(sic) of the cup if it's a draw Carrow Road won't be seeing me.
Changes for us tomorrow playing youth team as at the moment they are the only ones who have won recently, not expecting a classic just hypothermia, credit to those hardy souls who are making the marathon trek I'll wave to you I'll be on the right hand side

With all 3 of our main strikers out injured it looks like Idah up front:

    McGovern
    Byram Zimmerman Hanley Lewis
    Amadou Vrancic
    Buendia Stiepermann Hernandez
    Idah

Idah could have a chance to break into the first team and Zimbo and Hanley need more game time together.

There is no V A R with the championship clubs so I don't think it will be used. V A R is only used in the Prem (unfortunately). Think we will draw, but narrowly win the replay1-0 or 2-1
