I noticed he’s one of the few City players who has the stature to not get bundled off the ball he is a big strong lad and gave it back yesterday against a tall strong side .
It is the same bloke we call 'switch guy'. He is Mike Bassett style nob shouting out stuff irrelevant to professional standard footy. I wouldn't worry about him.
There’s a lot if stick for Jacob , he rarely gets a run in the team and like others is rusty when he does . He’s v good in the air , he has a pass in him and doesn’t fear a tackle like Giles - is his only weakness positional sense or a footballing brain because he’s part of a group without that . He’s got more close control than Coyle . Granted he’s not the quickest , question is can he be improved ? Or is he too old . Bear in mind he usually ends up with no cover to help him . ( no I’m not his Dad ) Just wondering
Sounds familiar ...I have heard 'SWITCH' a few times...I'm not worried, but I wouldn't pick an argument with him.
Switch is only one of them. His favourite is 'seconds' but I wouldn't be worried about him. He is a little old bloke. Long past fighting ability age ha ha
Can't be same one. The geezer I refer to is probably in his early 30s. But I think I know who you mean.. If its the same bloke he nearly had a ding-dong with a fan last season when they got eyeball to eyeball and it threatened to kick-off. I called out to the steward to spring into action to prevent a ruck. The chief steward, well some bloke in an orange high-vis jacket arrived, took them out, read the riot act, and it simmered down.
In all fairness I've only ever turned around and seen the guy my lad tells me is 'switch' man. He is 9 and it's been two different blokes in 2 seasons so I can't treat his opinion as gospel. All I know is the crap he spouts is proper Sunday league stuff. I don't mind it, people pay their money and can do what they like. My belief is my heart is worth more than trying to blow some blood vessels over a football game but whoever he is seems to think he is actually relevant and I hope he is happy.
That's them...There's a group of em who sit together, a few seats aside of me. They come out with a whole tirade of bollocks every game..Quite entertaining at times. Well worth the season ticket and better than the football on view most weeks.
I'm row W. Give me a camp fist flop as you go up the steps and I will know its you and respond by blowing a kiss
People pointing out he isn't a championship standard player ( ATM ) isn't slamming him. It's just the truth
He was better than Giles but standards are on floor. Defensively he’s an upgrade but he’s non league on the ball
Barry Cooper signs off the podcast saying what a terrible year it’s been. A year that saw the club either in, or on the fringes of, the play offs for the first five months. He’s either very forgetful or a dramatic chump.
A year that saw the club win a total of 4 games at home, go from inside to outside the play offs, and then all the way to the bottom of the league? Not sure he's the one with selective memory.
