The words ‘I told you so’ give me absolutely no satisfaction whatsoever. We always lose to Preston. At least we appeared to try to play football tonight as opposed to vs Cardiff. Watched a dodgy internet stream.
You didn't play that badly ****e defending though didn't see the sending off but big French was lucky not to go as well, Match blog tomorrow on my bit be in the afternoon sadly have to work
I watched it on Facebook stream that was worse than Cardiff game. This run is as bad as Johnson’s 10 game winless run last year. Glad I did not make the trip to watch that rubbish.
Our slow slide down the league continues, with a predictable defeat to one of our bogey teams. Even the likes of Millwall are catching us up now, and realistically there is only 5th and 6th place to play for as we have no chance of catching any of the top 4. There could be up to 10 teams vying for those 2 places if teams below us win their games in hand. I'm sure that come the end of the season we will come to rue the LC Cup run (aside from the money it generated) and the points we threw away against Wolves, Bolton, Leeds, Sunderland and others. And their first goal was a bad joke. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot and why no quotes from LJ or anyone at City after the game ? Are they now ashamed to face the media after yet another defeat ?
