Mick McCarthy will surely get MOTM depending on the weekend scores
And so a draw it was, I wish I was gambling on all of these.
I thought we looked leggy and that is surely only going to get worse unless MW uses the squad and rotates more. I thought Ball had his worst game in a long time and the first twenty minutes were so frustrating as we kept giving them the ball. Ironically we had the two best chances but both fell to Lyndon and his mojo simply isnt there right now. They did a very good job of containing Chair and that is why I think our best opportunities came on the right flank. Kane wasnt great with his crosses but at times we needed Charlie and Lyndon to bust a gut and have one of them at least get to the front post, mind you when they did he hit it to the far post.
In the end both sides probably deserved a point but we would have had little room for complaint had we lost.
Frustrating again for me was the bookings. We seem to have more yellow cards every game than the opposition with almost identical fouls being carried out by both sides. I know I am paranoid but I do think at Referee HQ they call us those QPR twats and the roster!
Looking forward March could be a really interesting month for us with six very winable games. February's final fixture is against Birmingham City and I am predicting not only a win for us but also a goal for Lyndon Dykes.
Right guys see you next season hopefully, all the best
What seems to have been overlooked is that we're unbeaten in 7, yes 7 away games W3, D4......God knows when that last happened. Have to be happy with that sort of form........
