I think Humes struggling at the minute mind he’s been really poor first 2 games I thought he was going to lose his head again yesterday. I think Huggins is much more of an attacking full back, would be good to see how he’d do given a full 90 minutes. Roberts needs support ASAP though and we have a midfield 3 so there’s no excuses for none of them getting over to help him when Hume isn’t there.

Now the dust has settled on Saturday's defeat, here is what Dan Ballard had to say after the game...

    IDENTICAL TO LAST WEEK
“Again another frustrating result, I thought it was almost identical to the one last week. Of course we’re extremely frustrated but again there’s lots of positives there and teams aren’t going to score those types of goals against us all season. So hopefully the luck turns and we’ll start picking up points soon.”

    FINE MARGINS
“I think we looked like the more dangerous team today definitely, but that’s the way football goes sometimes. I can’t remember them causing us too much trouble but at the end of the day they’ve scored two goals and we need to tighten up the fine margins. It’s frustrating because I don’t think we were the worst team today but it’s another learning experience, the team is glueing together and with the performances we’re bringing it’ll turn into good results soon.”

    S|ILL LEARNING
“We’re a really young group so everyone’s learning with each game. You’re going to get patches in seasons where things don’t go your way and unfortunately for us, the first two games we’ve had a bit of hard luck with some of the goals. At the end of the day they changed the games so it’s not going to be like that through the whole season. I’m sure the luck will turn on our side as long as keep putting in the same level of performance.”

    CHANCE CREATION
“I think we had multiple chances to score today. Pat, Jack and Dack were really threatening and caused a lot of issues so it’s coming. It’s frustrating but as I say, it’s not going to be like this all season and we’re only going to get better with every game and hopefully we can start putting some results together with the performances.”

    ONTO ROTHERHAM
“We’re already focused on the next game, it’s a big opportunity to get three points. We’re going to go away and work really hard this week, tweak a few things and hopefully get three points next Saturday.”

    FANS
“It’s strange hearing pretty much all the noise come from that one end. From the start of the game they were with us, even with some tough periods in the game they never stopped singing and cheering, and they were behind us. Coming out at half time, I really thought in front of that away end it was going to be the difference and we’d win the game. Of course we’re disappointed for them, it’s hard when so many travel and you don’t give them what they wanted. The players are hurting because of that but we’ve got to move on and hopefully we can get three points in front of everyone at the SoL next week.”

Pat, Jack and Dack has a nice ring to it. Hopefully a striker signing this week for them three to feed
