I have said he's been scarred by the first 4 matches. He wants to be solid first and then when he is losing then he throws in his attackers in a more 'risky' formation.

There is method to the madness. Criticise all you want he is getting results. I think he takes pleasure in frustrating people :)

I think you hit the nail on the head earlier. There's no reason why we cant play all game the way we did in the ladt 30 mins. But that does depend on the team he puts out. I think we just have to accept our defence will be suspect for the rest of the season and just play our best team and to the best of our ability. The stats show his madness isnt actually helping our defence at all tbh.

When you watch united these days, just be prepared for 30-40 good minutes and 50-60 crap ones.

When United play next time, I'll get people to call me when United start to play properly.

Ive noticed he tends to comment on a particular play or an opponents weakness that the players have worked on. So there is certainly method. For all this mocking of his selections and formations he certainly understands the game.

    Aston Villa v West Brom

    Bradford City v Reading

    Liverpool v Blackburn

    Manchester United v Arsenal

Ties to be played on the weekend of 7-8 March

Good draw for us tough one for you lot but either way every team has to turn up at this stage.

Blackburn are fcking **** LG. The only way they'll turn up is in a wheelbarrow. I just hope we have a final with two equally matched top end teams unlike several recent cup finals.

...unless ofcourse we're there in which case i hope we face Villa or Reading <laugh>

This is a good draw for us (almost as good as getting the RS at OT ). The players won't be complacent
That will be an excruciating final with LVG playing boring football for 70 minutes until we concede. Then it will be frantic all attacking football for the last 20 minutes. Do we want to kill the FA cup??

So after all the desperate defending of Rooney, he admits he dived to get a peno.
Waiting on Meth's latest youtube offering on how this still means Rooney didn't dive v PNE <doh>

    Thus says the Preston goalkeeper.

Let's be honest, if Rooney had made a lunge for the ball like the keeper did in the middle of the park, getting nowhere near the ball and forcing an opponent to jump out of the way, it would be a stick on freekick, probably a yellow card, and the same pundits saying he dived would be queuing up to condemn a dangerous challenge by the England captain.

The fact it was a goalkeeper making that challenge in the penalty area makes no different - it was a foul.

He's a german goalie and as such lacks credibility. They have a string of history for being dangerous, lying dirty cheats who often cause dangerous challenges - going all the way back to Schumacher (sp) over 30 years ago to Lehmann more recently. Cant be trusted. I'd go as far as to say all german goalkeepers should be banned. Even Neuer...playing sweeper...wtf is all that about...clearly looking for trouble imo.

All points to one thing with ze german at PNE. How can u trust someone to tell the truth about their own foul? A german keeper goes in clumsily and recklessly with the intention of murdering the best player in English football. Then you believe him when he says "it was the other guy's fault". Do you think a jury would believe that defence in a court of law?? Clearly not..I rest my case.
