Need a win some how, don't know where, don't how but I know where gonna way some day and I am p______.not going tomorrow but am next week to Nottingham. We really need a win from a game we are not expected to win in fact thinking about it we really need a win from anywhere. Com on city. Found out I am gluten and wheat tolerance so have to give up the beer so am now drinking cider. Wine is OK and white spirits to. Come on lads shock us all and bring back the points
Preston have not won both league matches in a season against Hull City since the 1933/34 campaign. Hull have lost 20 of their 26 away league matches at Preston (W4 D2), a loss percentage of 77%. After winning three of their first four Championship games at Deepdale (D1), Preston have claimed just two victories in their last 10 (D5 L3). Hull City have failed to score in each of their last four league games on the road (losing all four 1-0), last scoring against Sheffield Wednesday in December. Billy Bodin netted his first Preston league goal in what was his second start last time - his 10th league goal this season; three goals fewer than his best league total. The Tigers have conceded 17 goals in the last 15 minutes of Championship games this season; more than any other club in the competition.
Right. I'm now steady in the 13 stone mark. I've cleared Antorus Heroic. Meyler has been a legend on Twitter. We got a badly needed new defender and winger in. Both need to play. It's PNE for ****s sake. Today's the day. I can feel it in my water. 4 nowt to us. You Ull.
Preston. Vying for a playoff place. Unbeaten throughout December. Only one loss in January. Only one loss in thirteen league games stretching back to the first week of November. We're ****ed.
Got up with a spring in my step Ernie and for a change feeling optimistic but now I've just read your post its brought me back down to earth. Still hoping for a win, think we will lose but would be very happy away from home against a decent Preston with a draw.
No matter what's happened in the past I come into every match day thinking this is the day we'll turn it round and start winning. I'll think the same vs Chelsea in the cup. I get a lot of disappointments in my life. UTT!
Just as an OT does anyone know of any games going on locally today? Anyone playing? Not ferriby or owt just on Costello or king George or summat. I had a drive last Sunday morning looking for a game to watch and there was nothing on hardly. Oak Rd has only got two sets of goal posts up now. How sad is that.
Pal of mines supports Preston and tells me teams who are struggling to score goals this season manage to get them against them, hope he" right but can't see it 2 - 0
Only Wolves and Derby have lost less matches than PNE this season. Ain’t gonna happen today, ****ing ridiculous that both us and Sunderland are in the bottom three. Gah.
The Hull clubs (and Hull & East Riding Leagues) seem to be rubbish online and on social media, it’s hard to find any fixture info.
Well we're in bottom 3, that's the reality if you can't beat the teams around you, the rightful position despite some of the quality we have on paper. So, from today we need a leader/captain on the pitch, grabbing them all by the balls, taking no prisoners, and saying that despite many players likely not being here come summer, they need to deliver on the pitch not only for personal pride but for the long suffering, innocent City supporters who have had little to cheer about with all the **** going on and off the pitch. The question is what frame of mind and additude will Daws bring to the pitch.
You say that but if we’ve needed a leader in the pitch all season where the **** has Dawson been the rest of the time. He’s not that good a leader imho and we expect from him at our peril.
