Under Slutsky we were leaking goals but we were scoring them. Now we aren't scoring enough but we are still conceding enough to lose games. The players don't seem motivated enough.
As I've said, he managed to get himself a great gig, when his name hadn't been mentioned with any position available in football in 2 years. He turned up and got himself noticed... is he good enough for Hull City... NO!!.... is his management working... NO!!!. are we going down under him... YES!!!
You may change your mind once you hear Adkins post match interview gushing about the positives he got from the game!!!! lol
Nothing has improved under Adkins. We look worse. We aren't even scoring with any frequency now. We're going down. No doubt about it.
Don't look at our upcoming fixtures if you're already feeling bad We've blown all those chances to win at home playing against some really **** teams
What was our league position when Adkins came and how many points clear of bottom 3? Genuine question , my memory is going these days
It wasn't.... but at least under him there might be some reaction. Isn't usual for a new manager coming in to at least generate some points...
That's not true though. We were **** at the back yes but the midfield and attack all sung from the same sheet. We were playing good attacking football, looking like a cohesive team and causing problems in every game. Under Adkins we have gone from that to a group of players that looks devoid of any sort of understanding between each other. We don't create chances, attackers are isolated and left without support, and he defence still makes ridiculous mistakes, albeit not as many, but above all else we're picking up a lot less points, not that we were getting many anyway.
We were 20th, 3 points and +16 goals ahead of the relegation zone, on 19 points. 34 scored, 37 conceded.
