I could have meant that we thought we could win the match without our best players. That's a long stretch to treating it as a practice match.
Ok. I think you've lost track of what you're trying to argue. Rotating fatigued players is always a good idea, even if that means fielding a weaker line up.
and they are mutually exclusive? We messed about in the Europa League last season and we got relegated. If we had got further in the Europa League we may have had more confidence than what we showed. I'm a believer that winning is contagious.
I understand the tracking of what was said. You just started saying things which were simply not true.
No idea, but with the squad we've got and our proneness to key injuries, I'd avoid it like the plague. Play the kids and see how far they get. Plus there's no Europe for finishing as runner up anymore, you actually have to win it.
We've seen loads of times how ****e Hernandez is when he's tired. As Chazz says, he's really weak physically. Every time he gets on a plane he's **** the next game. Diomande must be about ready to start a game. He might turn out to be better than Hernandez anyway. We've got a great squad and we should use it.
Well it's an attacking side, can't argue with that. I think Rick has it right, Clucas just behind Akpom I reckon. Will be interesting to see him in the centre forward role.
I just hope if Akpom gets any chances he sticks them away because some of his misses in the last three away games have been poor, Burns'y thinks Clucas will be up top with Akpom ? interesting.
