Not greatly surprised by the selection. I like the look of the midfield. I'd probably have played Hayes rather than n'guessan but suspect CP is trying to decide whether to sign Dany up for next year so wants to give him a game. He's probably pretty clear already that Hayes is going and it would appear that Hughes is toast too. Evina needs game time and good to see Haynes scoring as I like him and he is a legitimate alternative to BWP. Hope Green has a stormer. Shame about the two ever present lads having their records broken but in the overall scheme of things it doesn't much matter.

Also shows how badly we need to sign a reserve right back. All our key players - Hamer, wiggy, Morro, JJ, kermit, BWP are rested. Solly would presumably have been rested too if there was an alternative!

Agreed - we've been a little bit lucky this season that Solly hasn't had any long-term absences. Remember the game where Wiggins played RB because Solly was ill?

Green hits the post from a free kick

Mikey - we've only seen Hughes play at right back once or twice, and he wasn't very good

2-0 N'Guessan :)

Both the goals sound like the sort of goals BWP was scoring earlier on but has been missing lately, pouncing on defensive hesitation.

Sounds like green is prominent. Hope so. Will be a confidence booster. I think he will be good in the championship.
