Sorry Reg but it is true.

    Everyone but himself to blame.

If he came out & said that it was his fault because he'd picked thr wrong team & played 4 players out of position then I'd have more respect for him.

He is still in the dog house for me i may change my mind if can string a few wins together.

    Our next 6 games are

    Villa H
    Man U A
    Fulham H
    Wigan H
    Wolves A
    Blackburn H

Excluding Man U all the other games are there for the taking so prove us all wrong Bruce. 4-4 ****ing 2

Don't know about pressure on him, but there is certainly a lot of pressure under him.

    this...

for all those fans out there who want him gone...

he is human and I can guarantee he is trying his best. He hasn't been given the money he was probably promised when he joined....
and I'm sure he would of loved to get Johnson and N'Zogbia but our board wouldn't let him.

I dont deny that he may be a canny bloke, in fact I've actually met him and found him to be just so but this is not the questions at hand is it?

My criticism is both valid and evidenced with facts. Since January this year (nearly 10 full months ago) we have been utterly hapless in the league, knocked out of 2 cup competitions by lower league opposition, scraped a 94th min draw at home to the mags and lost one. If we think about what happened nearly 52 weeks this weekend it becomes even more painful.

Its not Bruce the man I question its Bruce the Sunderland manager and for me, he has utterly failed. He has managed to reduce our home crowds to mid 30,000 from 42,000 average 18 months ago and heaped one of the worst home forms on us this calendar year for decades.

He is completely clueless and now merely flapping around his pals in the media, looking for cheap sympathy angles to mask his hapless management. If he is 'upset' that many of us are now totally fed up losing/being thrashed in derby games to poor mag sides, sick of seeing us lose at home and then after 1 game and 45 mins of decent football all is okay he is sadly deluded.

He has had his chance to impress. Had ample time to show us he is achieving something and for me the signs are poor. The football is poor and the return for the situation he has been handed at the club extremely poor indeed.

If he wins say 5 of the next 7 or 8 games and loses only 1 (Man Utd) he will get the crowd back in side. Anything less and its no deal. He has ****ed up any good will from the summer after chucking yet anther derby game with his ****e nervous as a kitten 1 up front tactics. That good will has totally gone for me and I just want shot of him asap. If that upsets him tough ****e.

He has brought that stinging and severe criticism on himself 100% and to get any favour back needs to perform a miracle he simply is incapable of doing imo.

    Bruce out 100% still here.

Third best defense in the league hapless?
I can't remember to many times when we have had a positive goal difference after one game in the Prem, never mind nine.
No one can deny results could be better thus far but if our strikers could start to match our defenders we will fly up the table soon enough.
    Bruce in. 90% ish.

By the way Cest when you say Bruce deliberately threw the Newcastle game you make a mockery out of this..."Its not Bruce the man I question its Bruce the Sunderland manager"
To suggest he'd throw a game is in fact questioning the man. Not the manager.
