Wasn't sure where else to put this, but I know lots of posters here go on to KUMB to see the reaction to our games, their own games, and other bits.

I always like hearing what they're all saying about us - a bit like PR companies collect press snippets of their clients. So I thought maybe we could have a thread where Saints fans can post choice snippets for the rest of us to read about/laugh at/raise discussion on. Likewise, we can open it up to Pompey, Reading etc. if anyone feels like it.

Anyway, is a bit of fun for run-in to the season, and not anti-West Ham (it's just no other teams have much of an active board and community going).

Mainly, I just wanted to post this bit of richness up from KUMB, about our line-ups for Friday, plus score prediction. Remember as you read the final sentence that this is a West Ham fan who has posted this:

Line-ups:

Lamberton - Cheat, Diver, Diver, Cheat, Diver - WHO?, Diver, Cheat, **** - Cheat, Lambert

Reading - Time-waster, Time-waster, Cheat, Time-waster, Left-foot-deadball-specialist - Pi**-taking Frog, Cheat, Time-waster, Time-waster - Fouling lump, WHO?

0-0. Big moment late in the 2nd half when a football match almost breaks out. But both sides quickly revert back to type. Yaawwwn.
 
I saw that too, was pretty amusing. Someone else suggesting that us and Reading might agree to draw and that the FA should investigate. The best bit is that our two goals against them were both training ground Jos specials.

A fan from a team we beat at SMS (can't narrow it down more than that) wrote on his forum.

We all know Southampton like to play the ball wide. Hell, even Stevie Wonder knows that Southampton like to play the ball wide.
SO WHY DOESN'T OUR MANAGER.

Not at the moment, as I believe there are still some issues with cross-board threads that need sorting out.

Also saw something that some of you have also seen, where a poster says that, having seen Adkins and McDermott in interview, they are both snidey little weasels, and he'd rather have Big Sam any day.

Well, that's good for him, he must be very happy with his lot, as he has Big Sam as manager, and all that comes with it! :laugh:
