In all seriousness, syd, start an article about whether big chris should be banned. If there are enough in favour, ban him. If not, then we all have to shut up and eat it.
dont quote me on this Why post it then. Is this just last weeks predicted conference starting late or is it a new one. I knew this this morning. My source is my own intuition and knowledge from tracking these moves on here and in the papers. A conference today and a new signing was almost ineveitable but not a dead cert so face if it's worth a gamble on your part.

Serious question so serious reply. I think banning members needs to be the last resort, if the majority want it then I will do it because its the members who decide not me, I will however give my view, just for guidance not set in stone. We will have peole who come on and offend people, really offend them, threats, racist, homophobic, religious, sexist comments. This would go aginst the forums rules and would lead to banning. Chris, in my view, does not offend so much but he can irritate. He can also give very good opinions but spoils himself with these statements. I'm no expert but would suggest the clue is there in his user name, not chris, sunderland chris, safc chris but Big Chris, he craves atention and with these artcles he gets it. This I think is comment 26 on an article everyone says is rubbish, a message I think. My advice would be to either take these articles in a fun way and join in or simple ignore them. Just one final thought, if we do ban Chris what will happen. We got rid of flash mike on 606 and the same day Big Chris arrived?

Just put him on ignore and avoid his threads. Better still join in and laugh at him. Banning someone for being a WUM will lead to bad things trust me, then it's ban the keyboard warriors, pretty soon it's ban someone who doesn't agree with you. We have a few more days of transfer speculation, I find him a welcome relief from it.
Personally, this geezer provides me with a good chuckle now and then as do some of the bites he gets so i'm all for him staying and as you have rightly said syd, he will only comeback as someone else-as i have!!
When it was announced that 606 was going to close, I posted that there were two things that I would really miss - the Argus predictions - hooray, we still got 'em, and the inside information from Big Chris - and of late he's been playing some trumps! Ban him? I wouldn't. Ignore him? I would. But I hope that others don't, or he'll wither and die. Interesting point about his user name, Syd. Didn't someone the other day suggest "Thrush", cos he's an irritating ****? I reckon he should think about adopting it, if he's got a sense of humour.
Steve Bruce flew down to London this morning. Unless he is on the 2pm flight into Newcastle he's going to struggle to make a 5pm Press Conference. The next London flight lands at 5.10...
