Alan Pardew has but his press conference back to 2.00 - 3.30, why do you think this is, are we trying to secure another player, iron out the ireland deal, sorting out bartons contract or is he in ashleys office trying to get him to reject a 35m pound bid for carrol

what do you think?
 
I cannot imagine we would sell Carrol...... even for £40,000.000 on the last day of the transfer window with no replacement.

I am putting my money on a new signing and also bartons contract.

my money is on it being the confirmation of barton signing a new contract. although we apparently have a bid in for kieron westwood, not sure why like.
 
harper is 34 now i think, he's been fantastic this season, shay given esk but how many years at the top has he got left, goalkeepers are suppose to hit thier prime between 30 - 35, i say sell krul, kepper forster to replace is 2 or 3 years and buy alex smithies to be our third choise, dont know about that young swedish keeper, how good is he suppose to be, sodderberg? what his name when your at home

Would be unwise for him to appear in public any time soon IF he sold Carroll.

Isn't he in Sweden anyways???

The Swedish expert gave him the all clear to come back and train. He's got a Photoshoot with Umbro later aswell (i read this somewhere... Will dig it out. Might have been the Chron.).

He must be getting sick of saying that by now! He's probably just got a Dictaphone with him saying that on and he'll just play that to the mike! <laugh>
 
They're announcing that Shola's a Nigerian prince, and if Liverpool send the £30mil upfront, we'll be sure to transfer the player once the cheque clears <whistle>
