Well at least he can't get embarrassed against Liverpool.......<laugh>

Mind you, I'd like to see him take on De Bruyne.....<whistle>

Not sure how much interest Gunnar would have got this far in the world.cup.
If Josh Windass has the same attitude and approach as his dad, then why not splash £1.5 million on him.

I'd give Windass a shot at it at that price Taff. Maybe it'll take a bit more than that to get him - that shouldn't be a problem though.

Dean Windass was a legend up in Hull and I'd suspect his son would possess the same "genetic code" in his approach to the game.

Gunnar may have cooked his goose if Iceland bomb out at the group stage. I've always liked him and can't blame him looking for a big payday to see out his career, but I'm afraid as far as the fans are concerned, this is about CCFC not Gunnar.

A good servant to the club and he had suggested he'd stay, if we were promoted. So covering his bases and hoping not to piss off the fan base should he decide to leave.
He was injured a good part of the season, so how much value does he actually have? A long throw and a battler, but would that make him an automatic choice on the team sheet? I think not, if we do get Grujić back.
I loved watching Windass senior play, really got stuck in, we will need some of that next season.

No news on a keeper. It’s not known whether Etheridge will be the no 1 choice. Plus he will miss some of season for Asia Cup.

Surely he’s not going to think of playing Camp?

And what news of a striker?

I'd be happy with etheridge as no 1 but definitely need cover.
Need a right back as well.

What's the matter with you - we've got Madine!

Got a feeling that Warnock is going to play Championship football to stay in the Prem and he could be right.

No point in competing with the big boys - just roll over a few of the habitual bottom half sides and we'll be OK for another season (and the dosh).

We’ve also got Danny Ward & Rhys Healey. <whistle>
No city do need a hard working goal scorer with some quality and experience at PL level.

Sounds like a lot of money to me unless we go for someone established in the past but now looking for a pension - Blobby Fowlup anyone?

Realistically, single figure millions at Prem level usually gets an also ran or an aspiring talent waiting for the chance to prove himself. Plenty of names mentioned over the past few weeks, but one I saw right at the start of the closed season was Jordan Hugill, lately of Preston but now at West Ham and not getting a look in since he went there in January.

OK, no experince of the Prem but he knows where the goal is. Him and Snodgrass at anything around the 15 mill mark as a package from Pellegrini and I'd be happy.

Incoming £4m. Good competition for Etheridge.

Good keeper and strong competition for Etheridge.

Either Camp or Murphy to move on.

QPR fans think £4m not enough.

not sure about that one. Think the money could have been better used elsewhere.

So who gets the No1 jersey? £4M a lot to pay for a bench warmer!

If it would help, we could make it £4M and Camp?

Need an experienced keeper (not Camp) at PL level. Risky going with 2 young keepers.

Take your point about PL experience Nin, but Etheridge and Smithies are both 28 - wouldn't have thought they'd be classed as"young" keepers.

Inexperienced at that level for sure, but both have enough game time under their belts to know where their goalposts are.
