It was a long and costly remediation. To be fair, potter seems to have a game plan and philosophy that his contacts will fit into. Ole on the other hand had a bingo machine and instilled a freedom to 'get on with it'.
Might be a bit late with this, but just noticed that Leicester paid 20mills for Maddison from Norwich! It wasn’t long ago that we beat them in a playoff match was it? It only goes to show what a couple of season in the ‘big un” can do for you! Yeah, lost to Blackpool in final!Watford, Burnley, Bournemouth...bigger clubs now!
Heard off someone last week that Warnock was interested in this "no cost" freebie option - looks like it's now out with the media........... http://www.insidewalessport.co.uk/cardiff-city-race-abel-hernandez/
Saw on the Leeds board they were interested. No disrespect to Leeds but would have thought prem football would be an attraction. Not sure how we'd fare competing against wolves for his signature. I'm sure Warnock and team are working their butts off to get the right players in. Would be nice to get most things sorted before our pre-season tour of the South West.
Rumours city are favourites to land Grujic for 10m. IMO not worth it but I doubt the rumour has any credibility
City wont pay 10 million for him. That figure has been quoted to AC Milan and Lazio who have both enquired to buy him - neither look likely to match that valuation. Far more likely is that Klopp will keep him on the books but he's not going to get much, if any game time for them with the squad they've got. If he can't get what he wants for him, he's indicated he'll put him out for a season long loan to a Prem club to improve his defensive play against top teams. If that's the case and we can come to terms with his wage entitlements, it's very likely he'll be with us for next season.
@ninian opinion - hey Nin, just saw this article on the suject.......... https://live4liverpool.com/2018/06/lfc-news/hunt-for-grujic-intensifies/
