I've got no problem with Tarbs moving on, as long as Warnock is given the transfer fee to re-invest. But I think we all know that's not going to happen.
Taarbs is a fantastic player but his head (and his "advisors") are too big for our tiny club. Thanks for the fun Adel but the world keeps on turning. I agree with Brixton, if PSG want to pay stupid cash and he wants to play on a crap league then let him go. Neil will build a team without him and I expect in 20 years time we'll refer to Taarbs as a Sheron rather than a Wegerle
The down side if he does leave, let's remember he was going in January as well, is that we wont have a star and a player that all the other teams know about. It would have been great to see him go for it in the Premiership and I do feel that he has let himself and especially Warnock down after all his patients and nurturing last season. I think he owed Neil at least until January to help us secure our premiership survival. The up side is that I feel we were stifled last season by the way the team had to play around Taarabt. We had the best midfield by far and yet we struggled to score by only having the lone forward. This season if we don't have Adel then we can play different systems and switch things around if things don't work out. But it was inevitable that he would leave eventually, but we are making a tidy profit from the deal. There maybe a sell on clause but we only paid 1 million and that million has brought us promotion and with that comes 80+ million, now that's what I do call good business.
I'm actually not too bothered about him leaving as unsure of how he would perform in the Prem & don't really think you can put a team out based around the one player. Personally wish him all the best as will always be a Rangers legend even if only for one season, disappointed that Spuds will receive so much though. Next thing is to strengthen the squad.
