I think he is good but has set his team out to play only one way and in the Premier League you are asking for trouble as we found out!
Playing on the counter away from home is fine which is why last season their away form was really good. However, at home when you have to take the game to the team visiting it's a different story as teams that come to you mostly will be happy for a draw.
As soon as Villa go one goal down they find it hard to recover as they are setup to play on the counter. Benteke is a big miss though so he may help. Interesting!
Surely if he was that good he'd have at least a plan B, let alone plans C,D and E. He's won just 31% of his games at Villa, overseen the biggest defeat in the club's history and doesn't appear to be making any real progress at all either in results or style of play.
I can't see the Villa fans staying happy for too long if they carry on the way they have in the past few games
