Don't worry we weren't either. Spurs in particular took a bashing on that show as did Chelsea and Arsenal to a far lesser extent. The producer of that show must be some kind of Pacifier of the North because I can't recall one bad thing said about United and they were dreaming themselves over Liverpool but the BBC have always been very pro-Liverpool to be fair
Of course - with Lawro and Hansen chairing most MOTDs, they've always got some pro-Pool voices there.
To be fair the Newcastle comeback was far more amusing and you can't go showing all the times Arsenal let go of leads. I think they ****ed it up against Blackburn, Swansea and Norwich last season alone.
Add Fulham to that list as well, cruising then messed it up with about 10 mins to go. It's got to the point now where you EXPECT Arsenal to lose comfortable leads. Their better performances came in games where losing games nobody expected them to win once going a goal down I.e Sunderland away, Chelsea away, Liverpool away, Spurs at home. They seem to crumble under pressure yet excel when backs are against the wall. Opposite of Chelsea who seem to be the reverse yet **** up when we are expected to win yet win games nobody expects us to win
All paled into insignificance compared to our demolition of you at the Emirates I'm afraid Not only did you throw away your lead and not only did we bang 5 past you, but we were also the catalyst for your downfall and eventual capitulation of 3rd spot. Now that is what you call NLD bragging rights
When we surrendered a 3 goal lead to United I suddenly remembered that 4-4 and suddenly everything felt normal
