I think that hints at who filled it out. I suspect younger fans probably do feel that way. You don't play Millwall very often, so they don't have much of an opportunity to feel it and they probably meet less of them, too. Similar logic applies to us making Leicester and City's lists. Anyone know why Villa make Newcastle's?
The Pompey one needs no explanation. If you’ve spent any time in either city, you’ll know. If you haven’t, you won’t. I have never met a single Saints fan who hates Bournemouth, so I assume that survey was taken immediately after they beat us at SMS the other week. Brighton and Reading were our play off rivals in League One and the Championship respectively. Brighton tried really hard to big up that rivalry, most Saints fans just laughed at em. Personally, I love Brighton the actual town, and have no animosity to their football club. I don’t even know where Reading is, think I might have changed trains there once, in my way to Cheltenham. No one likes Tottenham Glad I could help
You being 5th on our list is clearly purely down to 2016 that’s all. And the absence of any remotely local rivals for us lost in the lower leagues
there was no issue, but out of nowhere villa fans produced these after we got relegated down there ! if it was Sunderland or boro you would expect it , but from them it was a surprise and I don't think we will ever forget . It wasn't just a handful either it was the whole ****ing lot of them. that is what made is so sweet when we returned and beat the 6-0 at st james 2nd game back in the prem and they were relegated themelves that season. kharma served up nicely please log in to view this image
Not really, though the train ride down from London Bridge was a bit nervy. Mostly I was surprised, on a couple of occasions, at how many of their fans still seem to think it’s the 1970s/80s. I couldn’t quite believe a bunch of youths seriously wanted to take on me, my brother, my 12 year old son, and my 70 year old dad. I had to pull my brother away. That was on the way into the New Den for a cup tie in 2003. Only supporters I’ve ever seen try to pull the netting off the seats at St Mary’s, to get at the home fans. 2011/12 season in the Championship, that was. I’m sure they’re not all dickheads. Quite a lot are.
Yeah a table of new age, Sky era, plastic, armchair beauts being asked which club they hate the most. Who cares?
