Palace win, Burnley win and Saints draw.

Good news is Newcastle 2 down and Huddersfield likely to have a player suspended v us after a red card and Pritchard went off injured.

Can't understand it - how come we managed to lose to both of them?

    Fulham getting serious.
A big gamble if they don't stay up.

Fulham gave England defender Gary Cahill, 33, Nigeria winger Victor Moses and England midfielder Danny Drinkwater, both 28, a training ground tour in an attempt to lure them away from Chelsea. (Love Sport Radio)

All 3 would cost mega mega bucks. I read Cahill alone would cost 6m for a loan fee and wages.

Shows what we're competing against though.

Does FFP apply in the prem?

Given what Fulham spent last year and in the summer, they'll have been 'overspent' last year, blew this year's £100M in the summer and are probably going to spend another £20M (and more ?) in fees and wages in Jan.

    Risky business.

That's interesting! I WAS going to say it applies coz Man City fell foul of it...but that might have been European rules......for European matches.

It’s 3 out of 4 for the drop. Hasn’t it always been?

Away trips to Fulham & Burnley will be crucial.

Just been watching the Everton/Bournemouth game on the box and it's just finished - what a superb game of football between two mid table teams sitting 11th and 12th in the table at the start. It could have gone either way with Everton just killing it off in the last minute of extra time with their second goal.

Wonderful skilfull football, it was so far removed from what we had to sit through yesterday against Huddersfield that it makes you despair at what we need to do to even approach that level let alone compete with it - we are miles away.

I missed that one as on the golf course but did then see a superb game at Wembley. We are a million miles away from them let alone Everton & AFCB <yikes>

At last some good news on this dismal weekend. Just turned on tv to see Winks win it at the death:emoticon-0148-yes:

BUT it’s the likes of Burnley and Southampton who we need to hope start losing.

In reality it’s still 3 out of 4 to drop as it’s been for some time.

Little but if luck for us keeping the gap above Fulham.

Ninian's comment is spot on. We need those above us to halt their recent Improvements and we must find some form to start a challenge. Unlikely at Arsenal and will have to do something radical to get anything off Bournemouth.

    Nuno at it again.

Wonder what colins opinion will be on the subject.:emoticon-0114-dull:

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo could face further punishment from the Football Association following his dismissal against Leicester City. He was sent off after running on to the pitch to celebrate Diogo Jota's stoppage-time winner.(Telegraph) O

I don't know about others on here, but I wish Colin would keep his trap shut and not get involved in other clubs' business and the likes of Brexit. He may be doing it to divert attention from our poor performances but all he is succeeding in doing is winding up people and making them more anti-him and, by association, us.

My sentiments exactly. Deflecting poor perfomances by blaming the officials etc does this club a disservice. The vast majority of the time we have only ourselves to blame.

The Brexit thing maybe different and he has a right to his opinion, but he's talking to the media as manager of CCFC not as a politician and should not get involved.
